Emerald & Plume was founded in 2018 by Canadian Artist Elizabeth D’Agostino. Elizabeth’s creative process is fuelled by her interests in textiles, combined with her designs and drawings.  Inspired by the local flora and fauna found within the urban landscape of Toronto and the surrounding areas, each piece is uniquely crafted using hand screen-printed techniques, and digital printing onto cotton and linen.  Elizabeth’s designs start as fine line drawings, photographs and collaged elements capturing her surrounding topographies. Designed with an authentic nature, each collection evolves into colourful delicate patterns all printed and sewn by Elizabeth in her studio using small batch production.

I handcraft soy wax candles that are inspired from mythical creatures, magic, fairytales, and myths and legends.  My candles are made in Mississauga, Ontario out of environmentally friendly soy wax and premium fragrance oils that are paraben and phthalate free which ensure a safer and cleaner burn for you, your pets and the environment. Also, soy wax burns longer than the traditional parrafin wax and wax blends.  I intend to incorporate more storytelling into my products and social media as time goes on.  Once upon a time, in a world where nature’s magic flourished, there existed a queendom-led soy wax candle company called the Enchanted Woods.
